Tote

I just finished making this "Japanese Kanji Reversible Tote Bag" and have posted it in my etsy shop, www.abercot.etsy.com. Here's the link -

Thanks for visiting! A description of the tote follows the photos below.

Compliment your lifestyle with this fashionable, reversible Japanese-inspired tote, made of Alexander Henry collection “Michi Kanji” fabric on the outside, “michi” translated as “journey, road, path.” The red kanji (“kanji” is a character) is beautiful against the black background, with gold square and round kanji sprinkled about the fabric.

The top of the tote is gathered, using elastic. The lining is made from a nubby, soft home decorator fabric, a deep rust-red background with creamy ivory v-shaped thin stripes woven-in. I added 2 gold-painted metal buttons to the top of the bag as a decorative contrast. The handle straps are made of a home decorator fabric, coppery-red and shimmery-golden check pattern. I delight in how the fabrics compliment one another and blend to create a unique style.
