My first 2011 tea cozy, now available for sale in my online shop at www.abercot.etsy.com. I'm thrilled to share it with you and I'm quite proud of it - it's my unique design and I used 4 fabrics to create this cozy - some photos and a description follow.
I love to create collages and a contemporary-art style look

Delight in any season throughout the year with this “Elegant Burgundy Chartreuse Tapestry Contemporary Tea Cozy and Matching Hot Pad”. This cozy features 4 exterior fabrics. The front side of the cozy combines 3 beautiful fabrics – a stunning rayon tapestry with deep wine background and golden wheat-colored leaves and buds. On one side of this tapestry is a panel of a pale olive rayon/poly with raised machine-embroidered scrolls and fuzzy ivory and olive flower buds. The other panel is a cotton fabric print, pale gray background and rows of leaves in maroon, rose, burgundy and chartreuse.
The back of the cozy is a contrasting chartreuse ultra-suede-like fabric. The lining fabric is a rayon/poly weave, cream background and pale mauve paisley pattern. The cozy is interlined with 2 layers of batting to keep your tea quite warm while you visit with friends and family.
A rayon corded ribbon loops at the top of the cozy to make it easy to lift the cozy off your teapot. Cozy measures a total width of 29 ½” around by 11” tall. I’ve added two matching decorative buttons, too – one to the top of the cozy and one to the top of the hot pad.
Thanks for looking and
: )
